Gustavo is an accomplished innovation professional with 20 years of experience in zero-emission transportation, clean energy, and climate policy. His track record includes a range of impactful projects and initiatives from posts in the private sector, academia, and government. At the University of California at Davis, he led the Business and Policy Track of the Hydrogen Pathways research program. At Harvard, he was a research fellow with the Energy Technology Innovation Policy group. With the State of Washington, he was a lead on clean transportation and the Chair of the state’s Electric Vehicle Task Force under Governor Gregoire. With the University of California at Davis, he was Research Director of the Policy Institute. He held senior positions with global consulting corporations as well as with startup companies. Gustavo holds a doctoral degree on Transportation Technology and Policy from the University of California at Davis, and a Master of Science on Aerospace Engineering from the Israel Technology Institute, Technion.
